1. Ketogenic Diet

This diet involves significantly reducing carbohydrate intake — meaning you avoid bread, pasta, and sugary foods. You focus on a moderate amount of protein and primarily on foods rich in healthy fats. Ideal foods include olive oil, butter, coconut oil, cream, avocado, olives, and nuts.

2. Karatay Diet

Created by famous Turkish dietitian Canan Karatay, this diet is a favorite among many aiming to lose weight. It has its own specific rules:

  • Eat only two meals a day and avoid snacking as much as possible.
  • Use only natural oils like olive oil and butter. Avoid sunflower and corn oils.

  • Drink 2–3 liters of water daily, without exception.

3. Dukan Diet

  • In the Attack phase, focus on high-protein foods such as fat-free dairy products, fish, eggs, and poultry (like chicken, turkey, and quail).
  • In the Cruise phase, add vegetables like eggplant, broccoli, cabbage, celery, zucchini, mushrooms, and lettuce to your meals.
  • During the Consolidation phase, eat both meat and vegetables daily.
  • In the Stabilization phase, you make this lifestyle permanent but return to the “Attack” phase plan every Thursday.
