Supporting and assisting vulnerable groups in our society has always been one of the priority areas in the activities of the “Araz” supermarket chain. Remaining committed to its traditions, the company continued its awareness-raising and socially oriented projects in 2024. To ensure that children spend their leisure time in an engaging and beneficial way, the “Together with You” project was launched.
As part of the project, “Araz” organized an excursion for the residents of the “Umid Yeri” children’s shelter to the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan. During the visit, the children explored the House Museum of philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, where they learned about the museum, our national and cultural heritage, and the life of H.Z. Taghiyev — one of the Muslim world’s most renowned benefactors. The excursion, which sparked great interest, concluded with gifts presented to the children by the “Araz” supermarket chain.
Continuing the “Together with You” project, the “Araz” supermarket chain, in cooperation with the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population (MLSPP), organized an event aimed at providing meaningful leisure activities for the children of martyrs. Held in a socio-educational format, the event included games designed to spark interest and enthusiasm for various professions. During the games, the children took on the roles of different professionals. At the end of the event, gifts were presented to them by the “Araz” supermarket chain.
