As part of the “Card to Art” social and environmental project, an open-air exhibition was organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center. The project was implemented with the support and participation of the Araz supermarket chain, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, “Təmiz Şəhər” JSC, and the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center.
The exhibition featured artworks created from expired plastic cards. These cards were collected in special drop-off boxes and later transformed into artistic pieces by members of the DOST Center with disabilities. The exhibition attracted significant public interest and provided participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and social inclusion.
The main goal of the project is to highlight that waste is not merely material for disposal, but a resource that can gain new value through creativity and art. The initiative emphasizes environmental responsibility, efficient use of resources, and social solidarity.
It is also noted that special collection boxes for expired plastic cards have been installed in the Araz branches in Qutqashenli and Khankendi.
