Araz, a supermarket chain part of the Veysaloglu Companies Group (VCG), has launched the renewed “Araz Academy” to support the professional development of its employees, strengthen corporate expertise, and foster the development of in-house talent.
The opening ceremony of the Academy was attended by Rəşad Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, members of the Board, and other senior company executives. During the event, participants were informed about the Academy’s renewed infrastructure, training opportunities, and modern approaches to be applied in the assessment processes.
Serving the development of human capital in the retail sector and the establishment of a continuous learning environment, the “Araz Academy” features 10 interactive training rooms and a technology-based assessment center.
The modern training rooms enable the organization of various programs focused on the professional and personal development of both store and head office employees. The technologically equipped assessment centers are designed to evaluate employees’ skills, development potential, leadership capabilities, and digital competencies based on objective criteria.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rəşad Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized that human capital is one of the key factors behind the company’s sustainable development:
“The renewed ‘Araz Academy’ is not merely a place where training sessions are held; it is a strategic development platform where future leaders are nurtured and knowledge and experience are shared. The two assessment centers equipped with modern technologies will enable us to identify the potential of our employees and manage their career development based on objective indicators.”
The “Araz Academy” plans to deliver a variety of training modules covering in-store operations, customer service, logistics, quality control, digital skills, management, and leadership.
