The official opening ceremony of the new APACK packaging facility of Araz supermarket chain, part of Veyseloglu Group of Companies, has taken place. Located in the Mammadli settlement, the facility was established to ensure the hygienic packaging of products using modern technologies and to deliver higher-quality products to consumers.

The opening ceremony was attended by Aydin Veyseloglu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Veyseloglu Group of Companies; Rashad Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Management Board of Araz supermarket chain; Natavan Ibrahimova, Chairwoman of the Management Board of OBA market chain; Bakhtiyar Allahverdi, Chairman of the Management Board of Veyseloglu Distribution; as well as members of the management boards of companies within the Group and other senior executives.

Covering a total area of 4,800 square metres, APACK employs 52 people. The facility's primary activity is the packaging of everyday consumer goods in accordance with modern standards.

The facility packages granulated sugar, various types of legumes, dried fruits and nuts. The main objective behind establishing APACK is to offer customers products traditionally sold by weight in supermarkets in pre-packaged, standard-weight portions under hygienic conditions. This approach helps maintain hygiene standards during product storage and sale, simplifies the shopping experience and enhances customer satisfaction.

Packaging operations at APACK are carried out using automated equipment. Products are automatically packaged according to predetermined weight specifications. The implementation of modern technological solutions ensures packaging accuracy, improves operational efficiency and enables products to be presented in a standardised format.

With the commissioning of APACK, Araz contributes to the development of the country's production and packaging infrastructure, the expansion of its technological capabilities and the creation of new jobs.

Araz supermarket chain plans to continue leveraging modern technologies to optimise its operations, offer products tailored to consumer needs and consistently improve service quality.
