The Araz supermarket chain, in partnership with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, organized another “Exchange Your Waste for Gifts” festival to promote proper waste management, encourage a recycling culture, and strengthen environmental responsibility within the community.
Held at the Boyukshor Boulevard, the festival brought together community members who exchanged recyclable waste for products from the TAC and Bloom brands, as well as a variety of gifts.
As part of the event, a total of 5,090 liters of plastic waste and 810 liters of glass waste were collected and sent for recycling. In addition, 725 used batteries were collected for environmentally safe disposal.
The festival also featured interactive games and hands-on workshops for children. Through engaging and educational activities, young participants gained valuable knowledge about environmental protection, waste sorting, and the importance of responsible environmental practices.
