On the occasion of April 2 – World Autism Awareness Day, our employees came together with children with autism and spent meaningful and enjoyable time with them.
With the support of the “Birgə və Sağlam” Public Union, “Araz” supermarket chain organized hippotherapy sessions for children with autism at the “Baku Golden Horse Therapeutic and Training Center.” During the event, children engaged with horses, participating in this therapeutic activity that supports both their emotional and physical development. As part of the program, they became acquainted with the famous Karabakh horses and, accompanied by trainers and staff, took part in guided horseback rides.
The main objective of this initiative is to support the development of children’s social skills, boost their self-confidence, and promote their integration into society.
The event was implemented within the framework of the “Araz Creates Awareness” corporate social responsibility project, which aims to increase awareness about autism, encourage acceptance of differences, and contribute to building an inclusive environment.
