On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the “Araz” supermarket chain, part of the Veysəloğlu Group of Companies, a meeting was held with students receiving scholarships from the company. The event brought together 15 students who were admitted to leading local universities with high scores on their entrance examinations.
The meeting was attended by Rashad Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Board of the “Araz” supermarket chain, members of the Board, and other senior executives of the company. During the event, Rashad Ibrahimov engaged in an open and sincere exchange of views with the students, inquired about their education and future career plans, and shared valuable advice with the young participants. Emphasizing the significant role of the scholarship program in supporting youth development and motivation, the Chairman of the Board wished the students continued success.
It should be noted that the “Araz” supermarket chain provides one-time or monthly scholarships to the children of its employees who are pursuing undergraduate studies at local and international higher education institutions, based on their entrance exam scores. In 2025 alone, one-time awards were granted to 54 students. Currently, 103 students receive monthly scholarships funded by the company.
The main objective of the scholarship program is to support youth education, contribute to their professional development, and foster the growth of future highly qualified specialists.
