As part of the “Turn in Batteries, Protect Nature” initiative, used batteries have once again been collected and handed over for proper disposal.
The “Turn in Batteries, Protect Nature” project, implemented by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Red Hearts Foundation, continues successfully. This time, used batteries were collected from the Head Office of the “Araz” supermarket chain and handed over to the Waste Management Center LLC. Within the framework of the initiative, eco-volunteers collected a total of 88 kg of used batteries from the company’s head office.
The project aims to ensure the environmentally safe collection and disposal of unusable electric batteries, while also raising public awareness, promoting environmental responsibility, and strengthening education on proper waste management.
